Colin S. Bell, DDS, MSD, Chief Clinical Officer

Dr. Bell brings a wide breadth of experience and leadership to the U.S. Oral Surgery Management Leadership Team as the Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. An active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, he currently serves as a senior delegate from Texas in the AAOMS House of Delegates and has previously completed terms as president of both the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Most recently Dr. Bell served as the Chairman of the Oral and Maxillofacial Political Action Committee Board of Directors and was elected as a Director of the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) in 2016.

Dr. Seema Patel

Dr. Seema Patel is a highly skilled dentist with over a decade of experience in the field. After graduating from UMDNJ in 2013, she completed her general practice residency in Montclair, NJ, before relocating to Austin, where she previously owned and operated two thriving dental practices. With expertise in dental surgery and restorative procedures, she is dedicated to mentoring new doctors and teaching clinical development courses.

Passionate about giving back, Dr. Patel is deeply committed to community service, both locally and internationally, providing care to those who otherwise lack access. Her values emphasize compassion, treating patients with the same care and respect she would want for herself, while always striving to help them reach their oral health goals.

In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Patel is embracing motherhood and cherishing the new perspectives that come with raising her two young children. She also enjoys expressing her creativity through art and looks forward to continuing her passion for service trips to underserved communities around the world.


Dr. Emily Vanney

Dr. Emily Vanney graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2012. She gained clinical and leadership experience working as a general dentist in a variety of practice settings prior to joining United Dental Partners (UDP) in 2016.

As Chief Operating & Clinical Officer, she takes pride in fostering a culture that prioritizes patient health and satisfaction across all of UDP's 22 dental offices. Dr. Vanney focuses on collaboration across functional areas, empowering teams to think creatively and share openly to solve problems and reduce organizational friction. Her clinical experience and operational knowledge help her coach and develop Doctors & Office Teams so they understand office goals while always putting patients first. Dr. Vanney continues to treat patients every Monday.
