Dr. Gibree is a published author, key opinion leader, and industry expert with more than 20 years of experience. Dr. Gibree approaches each day with a focus on supporting doctors and their teams primarily around clinical excellence and consistency, artificial intelligence/machine learning, innovation, and strategic planning. Before joining the Heartland Dental support network, he established and owned multiple multidisciplinary dental practices in Georgia, which became the first Heartland supported offices in the state back in 2010. Dr. Gibree has served on the editorial advisory board of Dentaltown Magazine since 2009 and is a leader of the non-profit Dental AI Council. On a personal level, his values are rooted in faith, family, and community. He is an avid reader, ultra-marathoner, and former Ironman triathlete. He enjoys sports and is a HUGE fan of the Boston professional teams. Dr. Gibree and his wife Shannon have been married for 25+ years and have two sons, Jackson (20) and Cole (17). Jackson has left the family nest and is a sophomore at Lipscomb University in Nashville where he is part of the basketball team, while Cole is in 11th grade. Their family is involved in their church, missions, youth basketball, and pediatric cancer organizations.
Dr. Florian Hillen, Founder & CEO, VideaHealth
Florian Hillen is the Founder & CEO of VideaHealth, the dental AI platform trusted by DSOs and dental practices. VideaHealth’s FDA-cleared AI-powered technology analyzes and annotates x-rays for dentists to help them more effectively and efficiently detect disease. Previously, he conducted research projects at the intersection of engineering and social science at MIT’s Institute for Data, Systems and Society and Harvard Business School. Florian has previously worked for McKinsey & Company and founded ninu, a digital healthtech start-up. He holds two Master’s degrees from MIT in Computer Science and Technology & Policy, a Bachelor’s degree in Management & Technology and the first State exam in Medicine.
Andrew Smith, Chief Executive Officer, Association of Dental Support Organizations
Andrew Smith is the Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO), a non-profit organization committed to providing support to its members, allowing affiliated dentists to focus on patients, expand access to quality dental care and improve the oral health of their communities. Prior to joining ADSO, Andrew served as executive vice president of government relations and external affairs for Parallel (formerly Surterra Wellness) where he managed the state and federal government relations teams, served as the company’s chief advocate and spokesperson to policymakers and regulators, and led the company’s advocacy and communications goals in the public affairs space. Prior to joining the private sector, Andrew spent a decade working in government, campaigns, and public policy. In particular, Andrew worked as finance director and senior advisor for Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe where he oversaw the strategy, development, and implementation of a record-breaking $44 million fundraising operation. Andrew is originally from Chicago and is a graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in government and history.
