This session will offer an inside look at some common hurdles that new graduates may face in a practice setting and how you can overcome them. We’ll also discuss tips to start building a good rapport with colleagues on your first day and share advice on adjusting to your new clinical and office routine.

Jonathan Vogel, DDS; Texas-Houston ’18; 2017-18 Chair, Council on Advocacy
Dr. Jonathan Vogel is a 2018 graduate of the University of Texas School of Dentistry – Houston. He was very active in organized dentistry as a dental student, and continues that passion serving as the New Dentist representative to the ADA for the State of Texas. He works in private practice in Dallas, Texas as a general dentist with a focus on sleep breathing disorders, and volunteers his time at Dental Health Arlington. He believes that oral health is synonymous with systemic health, and focuses on providing healthcare focused on patient education, and hygiene. In his spare time, he enjoys trying new foods, traveling, and butchering some karaoke.
