Why do you want to be a dentist?
I am committed to growing as both a leader and a student in the field of dentistry so that I can effectively educate my patients about the crucial link between oral and systemic health. I believe it is essential to focus on preventive care rather than merely addressing pain management. Unfortunately, the high costs of dental care often leads patients to undervalue the importance of routine visits, even though these cleanings are vital for their overall well-being. By enhancing my knowledge and leadership skills, I aim to empower my patients to prioritize their dental health as an integral part of their overall health.

What are you most excited about for dental school?
I am thrilled to be in the lab, practicing on teeth, as it represents the culmination of my lifelong passion for dentistry. The opportunity to immerse myself in this hands-on experience is exhilarating, and I can’t wait to spend each day doing what I love while making a meaningful impact on the lives of my future patients. This is not just a dream come true; it’s a chance to contribute positively to their oral health and well-being.

Why do you think you’ll make a good dentist?
My deep commitment to giving back to my community, coupled with my strong belief in the value of education, makes dentistry the perfect fit for me. Each day in this field allows me to pursue both of these passions. I believe that kindness and compassion are essential qualities for any provider, and my life experiences have shaped me into someone who embodies these traits. I am dedicated to becoming the best dentist I can be, with the goal of improving every smile that walks through my door and making a positive impact on my patients' lives.

What excites you most about ASDA?
Being involved in the ASDA pre-dental club has provided me with an invaluable opportunity to connect with like-minded students all on their journeys to dental school. While I firmly believe that there is no single path to success, ASDA fosters a welcoming environment that embraces diverse backgrounds and experiences. Although the pre-dental community is small, I am passionate about continuing my involvement with ASDA in dental school, eager to give back everything it has given me during my undergraduate years. I look forward to contributing to a supportive network that inspires and empowers future dental professionals.
