The American Student Dental Association encourages local and state dental associations to invite selected dental students to participate in their councils, committees, conferences and other opportunities and that such students be active ASDA members selected by the dean or local ASDA chapters of the dental schools of that state. ASDA also supports local ASDA chapters seeking votes in their respective local and state dental associations.

The American Student Dental Association intends to maintain and strengthen representation at the national level through its participation and representation on ADA Councils, the ASDA delegation to the ADA House of Delegates and other opportunities as may arise.
