The American Student Dental Association supports the use of animals in scientific research, testing and education in a manner compliant with the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee. Researchers should respectfully adhere to relevant animal study regulations, including but not limited to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
