Meeting Updates

We are deeply disheartened by the recent events in Minnesota and appreciate those who have reached out. The ASDA Board of Trustees has been closely monitoring the situation in Minneapolis while staying in communication with the hotel, legal counsel and chapter leaders to determine how best to move forward with Annual Session. The decision to keep Annual Session in-person Feb 6-8 was not made lightly.  

The Board of Trustees is committed to delivering a thoughtful, integral, positive meeting experience for those attending. 

We admire and respect the strength of the Minneapolis Community and are honored to bring the ASDA family to this city. We look forward to seeing you there.

Currents of Growth

Each year ASDA hosts hundreds of student leaders from dental schools around the country for the official meeting of ASDA’s House of Delegates at Annual Session. ASDA’s 2026 Annual Session will take place in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, Minneapolis, MN, Feb. 6-8. This year’s theme, Currents of Growth, symbolizes the monumental growth that takes place at Annual Session each year through votes on policy, the election of new leaders, newly made connections and more.

Scholarships 

Scholarship applications for the 2026 Annual Session are now closed. In addition to the five ASDA-sponsored scholarships, Heartland Dental is sponsoring 13 scholarships, one per district.
