Advocacy Month 

Advocacy Month takes place every November and is ASDA's annual commitment to educating members on the importance of advocacy and developing engaging ways to get involved. 

Advocacy Month 2023: Your Future is Calling demonstrated how your future depends on advocacy work of today. There are 4 steps to take now that will bring a better future of tomorrow: Educate, Act, Share, Repeat.

  • Every week, ASDA texted out advocacy challenges with opportunities to win prizes.
Chapter Haiku Competition
  • Congratulations to Iowa ASDA for receiving the most votes in the chapter advocacy haiku competition.
ASDA Advocacy Molar Bear
  • ASDA’s iconic mascot, the Molar Bear, returned! She visited chapter to chapter across the country.
Advocacy Certificate Program

  • Members had the opportunity to submit 3 unique Advocacy Month points.
